Bellamie Kids is a family run brand, built by us in our London home.

 

Although we launched in Summer 2022, the idea of having our very own childrenswear brand has always been a burning idea for us. When we had our first son in 2013, it was then we soon discovered the lack of neutral and allergy prone skin friendly options out there as he suffered with eczema. Shopping trips also often felt disappointing when we found that more than half of the high street stores always felt highly marketed towards girls, leaving very little options for boys and highlighted the lack of gender-neutral options out there.

 

Anna enjoyed designing non-stereotypical gender clothing whilst studying Textile Design at University, ensuring the design could be worn by both genders and having them made purely with natural fibres. Having worked in a few creative jobs in the design industry, Anna had always dreamed of creating her own brand. When she had our second child at the end of 2019, we really struggled to get hold of any clothes online when the stores across the UK shut during the Global Pandemic. This then gave Anna that extra push to creating an online store which sold the basics essentials, but made with quality fabric and organic fibres. Our second son also suffered with sensitive eczema prone skin, so this was always going to be an important factor. 2021 was spent brainstorming away ideas for Bellamie Kids and we launched in Summer 2022! Since then, we have received an incredible amount of support and are growing our collections every season. This year we launched our first newborn collection and accessories!

As a family with a history of sensitive skin, being a kind-to-skin brand is incredibly important to us. Being as organic as we possibly can is our top priority, so we've made sure our clothing is natural and sustainable, made with organic cotton.

We really care about the fashion impact on the environment, so we have made sure our packaging is completely plastic free, our mailer boxes are all 100% recyclable and our mailer bags are biodegradable.

Our gender neutral clothes are carefully selected with quality, trend and comfort in mind for your little ones.
